An insight from the sellers as to why they purchased this home:
We were immediately attracted to our home because it had the look and feel of a single family home, along with several things that set it apart from other condos being built in the area. Our home has a large open floor plan with separation between living and eating areas and a nicely designed entry way. This floor plan felt very different from other condos we had seen, which were mostly narrow spaces with living and eating combined. We were also thrilled with a two car attached garage, when most condos were offering single garages or merely available parking. Living here we have loved having a walk in pantry, beautiful built-in book cases, a five piece master bath, large bedrooms, kitchen and living spaces, a utility sink in the laundry room and a built in desk in the kitchen/eating area. We have loved living in our condo because it feels more like a home, is a Burnstead construction, and is part of the Highlands community.
We love living in Issaquah Highlands. There is a strong sense of pride and community here with a lot to offer a diverse neighborhood, making it the perfect match for each of its residents. We have loved the close freeway access, and parks / retail within walking distance. In particular we have liked the location of our home because it is in a central location and set back from the main roadway (Park Drive), making it easier to access and within walking distance to the new park -and-ride and retail shops. We love the many parks and trails in the Highlands and the natural beauty that surrounds our home. We have taken advantage of the social opportunities sponsored by the Highlands, have attended several diverse social clubs, festivals and concerts, and feel that we have met and developed friendships within the community.
